I started this group in the year 2002 with only 5 devotees and we reached more then 1000 devotees in a very short period and more to go with the blessings of lord ayyappa. With the support of pannir gurunathar and with his blessings i started my journey as guruswamy in the year 2005. that was my first time i lead a small group of devotees to sabarimala.After the journey back,a matter popped into my mind.there is lots of devotees of ayyappan who could not afford themselves to visit sabarimala and get the blessings of ayyappa in one time because of travel expenses and all.
In that moment i decided to build a ayyappan temple as per sabarimala but i was alone to stand that time.In that moment the late jeeva samy,late balakrishnan(david samie),jothi guruswamy,prabha guruswamy has came up and gave me support to forward with the temple plan.the journey of building the temple started but it took ample of time.ayyappa seva sangam johor has build a ayyappan temple at mahamariamman temple,kota tinggi.meanwhile i never stopped there but for the first time i started local irumudi yaterai for devotees who could not go to sabarimala.it continues yearly and till now dated.
I want ayyappa johor always to be extragavanza,where the pooja i have conducted throughout the years was really special where no one in malaysia have conducted it.for example i brought 5 elephants for yaterai,1 million deebam,1008 kumbam pooja and many more.i even started thiruabaranam where we did gold moulding for ayyappan,gold chains,ayyappan equipments the government of malaysia gave a piece of land near by pelangi indah which is about 17,000 s/q feet which we should share with a chinese temple.I felt it was not suitable.On that day ,i told ayyappa that we are building a house for you in johor and ayyappa must choose the best place for him. later on the government granted another land in desa tebrau which is about 1 acre of land.We started planning the temple,i brought kanipayur fom kerala india where their generations is the one who consult the vasthu of sabarimala.plan was drawn,with the help of all samies the temple started to build up .
Now the ayyappa johor sanidhanam is ready which was a 10 years dream of ayyappa johor and i am proud that it have been suceeded.
